Merry Christmas Everybody! my day started off with waking up to go to my church with my family the music was beautiful and the talks were amazing I'm so thankful for church! after we came home got changed and what not then opened presents! oh what fun this time of year is!

Harry potter wall?

So we found this random kind of awesome wall with a bunch of random stuff on it including harry potter, so does that make it harry potter graffiti? Look out world its got harry vandals on the loose! Oh sorry about the photos my phone has trouble uploading photos

I am on a high right now cause I found out I can blog from my phone!!! Its freaken awesome!!!! So now I can blog while I'm up north for work! Smart phones are so cool ^_^

Something New?

So yesterday I got my ears pierced! crazy eh? now that I look back I really wish I had someone filming! ha ha oh well you'll just have to take it in words, It really wasn't bad! I think my sister freaked out more than me! she had to walk out ha ha she doesn't take well to needles I don't mind them, the only thing that bugged me was this pinching feeling, but then she put something on my ears and mmmh I was all better!

The gun did not look like this, it looked like something you would use on a card or something cheap! it made me kinda nervous! :/
I have to wash my ears with this 3 times a day for like 6-12 weeks! sigh this is gonna be a while...
The end result! now I have to wear the same pair of earrings for a longtime... good thing their cute! :)

OK so I'm doing some crazy things in my life 1st! I singed up for my 1st half marathon with my rocking crazy spunky white beautiful! friend Ashley Greenwood!! I'm so excited I might die!! YAY hahaha see Ashley and I have this weird kinda funny goal, OK so we cant get married to our future hub until we run a marathon and finish! crazy eh? ha ha we made this plan when we where just little sprouts ha ha and I plan on a epic finish!

The 2ND crazy thing I'm doing is.. well I'm going to get my ears pierced! now I'm not scared of the needle or anything like that I'm scared about what others with think... But I try not to let others control my life not that others advise isn't great! you just need to know when its your choice not others.. that felt rude of me to say.. sorry guys I hope you still love me! But hey! just think I'll be easier to shop for!! always look at the positives ;)

Tis the season to be early?

Christmas is probably my 2ND favorite holiday! I love the music the colors and joy all around!

so we are only 3 days into December and I'm practically done my Christmas shopping already... early bird? ha ha I guess my wrapping paper says it all!

One of my favorite things to do for Christmas is wrapping presents! you get to create art! did I go a little crazy with mine? eh probably, but I sure had fun doing it! Its fun and easy to be creative and it shows you take pride in your work!

OK so every Christmas your getting ready to wrap your gifts, gasp! whats this all of the gift bows are smashed from being packed away... well that puts a damper on things, you try everything but the bows have gone to a better place, dead, retired, resigned and so on, well now your holly jolly spirits have come to a speed bump, that's when creativity comes in handy! no bow? that's fine just use some oldish looking string to give it a little texture, no name tags! well that will not do, quick fix! there's a site that has all kinds of great things that I depend on daily, GOOGLE.COM best thing ever invented? I think yes! now all you have to do with this is simply type in what you need in this case gift tags or name tags for gifts, then click on the images and you'll have wide selection to chose from. now your pretty happy with how your gift is looking but there is something missing, remembering how your bows usually look when there not flatter than paper, pop! life and personality, now we must fix this! we don't want people to think your giving them a brick do we? No! its a box of joy! so it need to look the part, well this is a problem cause your bows have not magically come back to life so now you've got to be creative! me being a feather girl used feathers! it worked to perfection! now looking at my gifts they have life!
now not every girl or... guy has feathers just lying around, but that's OK! you can use anything just be creative and tasteful! now that I've passed on my wisdom to you pass it on! :D

For the past few days I've been working on my Brooklet Photography blog, I've got loads of new photos on there so if you wanna feel free to check it out!

Hopefully I'll get some more Photo shoots in line, as for now its pretty slow... but that's OK cause I've been a little under the weather so I guess I was meant to stay home and just get things up to date! But I am trying to get my sissy's family photos for the fall while its still, well Fall!

Thanksgiving!

What I did for Turkey day:

1. Had a sleepover with my cousin!
2. Saw the St George ocean
3. drank Hot coco
4. Went to Di!
5. Shared stories with the family
6. Ate loads of food
7. Found out my aunt and uncles family LOVES modern family!
8. Watched football Go Green bay packers!
9. Went bowling.
10. Found out I'm a terrible bowler
11. Went to pawn stars pawn shop!
12. Went to the hover dam
13. Went black Friday shopping at 10pm on Thursday night... ill never do that again!
14. Played rummie! a very fun card game
    
15. Saw the worlds biggest TV screen I think haha
16. went to the toilet bowl, its a hike in snow canyon
17. Got a $5 BLT foot long at subway! best thing in the world!
18. Played charades!
19. Ate smoked turkey! ill never go back! try it you'll get hooked
20. went to the pool

I'm so thankful for every second of my life! I'm thankful for the Trees that give us air so we can live, I'm thankful for the windows, that keep the good air in and the bad out, I'm thankful for the doors that keep the good people in and the bad ones out, I'm thankful for my trials they always keep me learning, I'm thankful for my job, giving me skills and learning how to deal with money and bills, I'm thankful for my feet, they always keep me going, I'm thankful for my Phone even if it has more problems than anyone can fix, it keeps me in touch with loved ones :) I'm thankful for smiles, they lighten the situation, I'm thankful for my family, there my rock they keep me safe, happy, smart, healthy and loved I don't know what I would do without them , I'm thankful for my father in heaven for giving me all these things and so much more! he knows just what I need even if I don't see why I need some of the things he gives me he knows! this thanksgiving has shown me how much I'm loved! and I'm thankful.

I just got back from our yearly trip to south Dakota! we go white tail hunting and bird hunting, I shot my first bird this year! Its not as easy as it looks, I used 25+ shotgun shells and only got one bird... .. hmmm maybe i should rethink this haha I did better without a gun then I did with a gun! I found a five point white tail drop then found a 3 by 4 white tail head! haha well its not finding all this stuff that makes me love it so much, I love it because almost all of my family goes its one of my favorite times! I love my family <3

Highlights?

• Well I got to shoot a shot gun for the first time! got bruises from it, totally awesome!
• I fell down some stairs... we wont get into that... hahaha it was really funny!
• found out that my grandpa absolutely loves 3 musketeers!
• drove in a blizzard.
• found out that carls jr and hardee's are the same restaurant! who knew!
  
• saw millions of buffalo
  
• saw my uncle fall down! hahaha best moment of my life!
• stayed in the bunk house inn! its pretty sweet!

Its like an early thanksgiving without the turkey, now I get to see my family again! yes this truly is my favorite month! you get to see family! eat loads of food! shop till you drop! sleep in! its the whole package! I don't see why people are so excited for Christmas when we have such fun month already!
well I'm just rambling now haha I hope everyone has a fabulous turkey day!!

One Of My Favorite Things

PILLOWS! I love them I love them I love love love THEM!

If I was a hoarder I would probably be a pillow hoarder I cant go into a store with cute pillows and not want to buy them all!!

So today I went to Di ha ha just because i little birdie told be to (cough) (cough) Ashley Love that girl and miss her tons!! anyways I stumbled on some pillows... and well lets just say I have a new addition to my bed ;) I'm so Happy! tehe

I probably have a problem....

squash a fruit or vegetable?

Funny question i suppose but it was on my mind today so i did some research on the wonderful world of Google.

like a tomato you would think its a vegetable! but! its not!
Fact: a squash is a fruit!

Now this new knowledge totally blew my mind! ha ha I can now say a pumpkin is a fruit!

What are some of my favorite activities?

1. watching scary movies.
2. decorating with cute crafts and stuff.
3. listening to Halloween music.
4. going to the corn maze.
5. handing out candy.
6. and most importantly figuring out what I'm gonna be for Halloween!

wheres the place to be during fall?

VERMONT! without a doubt the best of the best
when the leaves change this is the place you wanna be, theres no other place like it.

I'm so grateful for colorful leaves and beautiful smells.

Lost and found.

I'm shamed to say I'm one of those blogger's who forget about there blog.... BUT! in my defense I've been up north working... I'm surprised i still remember my password!
This brings me to a thought, how much stuff have i forgotten? if i cant remember it is it really that important??
Truth: YES! there's so much a person forgets about in a lifetime but that doesn't mean its not special to them. its funny some stuff we try to forget but no matter how hard we try to get rid of it it sticks like gum stuck on the bottom of your shoe...

Update: For the last 4 months I've been working up north at Strawberry Bay, My uncles own it and I grew up there, Ive seen my cousin get married, I jumped in freezing cold water, made new friends and saw old friends, Ive become an exceptional cook... i hope haha, bought my 1st fishing pole! rode horses, got into painting my nails, Found a new passion for trail running, finished hunters safety shortly after I got my first elk tag! fell down some stairs, killed bunches of spiders and found out that I'm pretty good at it muahaha Took photos of a wedding and reception.

Whats coming up: In novemer ill be leaving for south Dakota for some more hunting with the family! i'm hoping to buy a turkey tag! and maybe do some bird hunting.

ill try my best to post more but as you can tell im not that great at this so it might be a total fail... pray for me... jk hahaha
